American Kitchen Cabinets Win First Step Against China
On April 22, the U.S. International Trade Commission unanimously affirmed that the domestic cabinet and vanity industry has been injured by Chinese imports. The American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance will now begin its fight against unfairly traded Chinese cabinet imports as the ITC begins antidumping and countervailing duty investigations.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is cracking down on attempts to evade antidumping and countervailing duties on hardwood plywood products imported from China. The agency has already found significant amounts of hardwood plywood shipped from China that were misclassified as ready-to-assemble kitchen cabinets.
